Step 1
This look works best with hair that has a little natural wave or coarseness. Prepare damp hair with a good amount of VOLUMEA volumizing foam, then rough dry hair with hands to create a lot of root lift and volume. Be careful not to flatten the roots by over drying the hair. It is ok to have a small amount of frizz at the roots.
-
Step 2
Use a 1" to 2" inch curling iron (depending on the curl you are looking for) and curl the hair by holding the iron stationary and wrapping the hair around the barrel leaving out the occasional end. Be aware of the direction you want the hair to move and curl accordingly.
-
Step 3
Apply NATURIA dry shampoo to roots and shake out the excess. Give the hair a good brushing to loosen the shape up.
-
Step 4
Take an upside down triangular panel from the ear to the parietal bone and, drawing upward, smooth with brush or hands and mold into a 40's style roll and pin in place.
-
Step 5
Apply a drop of ACANTHE curl enhancing leave-in fluid to hand and gently work through exposed curl ends.
-
Step 6
Take the back half of the hair and gently roll under into bob shape and pin (criss cross your pins for better hold). Pull out strands for a messier look.
-
Step 7
Take remaining hair on side and brush into finger wave or pin into shape desired and finish with finishing spray instant hold.
