Cooperating with the client and the photographer; doing art with hair; making the models happy; creating new styles, but most of all I love the teamwork with the other artists on set. And last but not least: creating beautiful pictures.
Sophie Kaspar is from Vienna, Austria and has worked as a freelance hairstylist worldwide since 1998. She came to the United States in 2007 to continue her work in the fast paced and competitive market of New York City, and has since grown an impressive client base since her arrival. Sophie is now permanently based in New York and works frequently in Europe.
Since 2006 Sophie has become an inherent part of New York Fashion Week, and works on shows for designers such as: DVF, Hugo Boss, Jason Wu, Michalski,Custo, Oscar De La Renta, Rag & Bone, Richard Chai, Thakoon, Wunderkind, Y‐3 and DKNY.
Her work has been published in Magazines such as I‐D, Jalouse, Purple, Cosmo Girl, Esquire, Bolero, Quest, Stiletto and Hamptons Magazine.
Advertising clients include: Avon, Daniel Hechter, Golfpfeil, Kohler, Laundry, Longchamp, Macy’s, Nordstrom, Mastercard, Mercedes, McDonalds, OUI, Palmers, Primavera, Samsung, Visa, and Wolford.
